  My wife went to Wallace Bishop Kippa Ring and asked for a price on replacing the battery in a watch. She spoke to a young dark haired male shop assistant with an unshaven face who thought he was funny quoting her 2 million dollars and then stating they don't replace batteries in Swiss designed watches because apparently they are not qualified to do so. He stated the watch had to be sent to their technicians at Newstead. It was obvious he was being smart because the female shop assistant beside him was smirking. My wife left the store and came back past the store 5 minutes later and the unshaven shop assistant was talking to another male shop assistant and they were having a great laugh until the unshaven one spotted my wife walking past, at which time he quickly turned away and wiped the smile off his face. Totally unprofessional and after shopping there for years we will no longer be customers. Two other jewellers in the same area will replace the battery for less than $20.00 in half an hour.

  Apparently business hours 9.00 - 5.00 are optional. Stood out the front of the store for 10 minutes after 9.00. Rang them up from outside the door and asked if they were opening. They took 5 minutes to open the doors. Went in to collect my watch, left 10 days ago for a battery, still not done. No apology for late opening, no apology for watch not ready. It is called 21st Century Customer Service.
